Ethel Peck, assisted by Mrs. Harry Robinson, was hostess Tuesday evening to the members of the Ruth Bible class of the Christian church, at her home on East John street. After a short business session a quiz contest, in charge of Mrs. Harry Robinson, was enjoyed. There will be an interesting program, and large attendance of the two organIzations is expected. During the meeting last night Mrs. Bessie Morgan made an interesting report on the proceedings of the mid-winter conference of the organization in Indianapolis, which she attended. DAUGHTERS OF REBEKAH The members of the Daughters of Rebekah lodge met last evening in their hall on West Church street for a regular business meeting. Routine business was transacted and the lodge will meet again next.

Wednesday. ORESTES BRIDGE CLUB Mrs. Marjorie Montgomery entertained members of the Orestes bridge club last evening. Prizes were awarded to Mesdames Ruth Walker, Jean Marlott, Dorothy Willis and Bernice Weaver. Others attending were Mesdames Zelma Brunson, Fairy McMahan and Dereva Fenters.

The next meeting will be in two weeks with Mrs. Ruth Walker. ANNOUNCED WEDDING The marriage of Miss Helen May Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.

The next meeting will be March 25. HI-Y CLUB DANCE PARTY AT GYMNASIUM FRIDAY The Hi-Y will hold an informal dance, Friday night, March 13, at 8 o'clock in the gym. The proceeds are to to the Jr. Red Cross, according to a statement by Charles Millspaugh, president of the Alexandria H1-Y The music furnished by, records will be loaned by the Music Committee, Richard Hall and Robert Montomery. Tickets are on sale this week and may be obtained from club members.

The price of the tickets is. 25 cents. Members of the decoration committee are Marvin Garner, Eugene Ludlow and Bob Ray. Members of the refreshments committee are Bob Ray and Bob Glass. Miss Bette Humphrey was a visitor in Anderson today.
